The Platform team at PeopleFluent is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will think building software using the latest and greatest technologies and methodologies is fun! This candidate will also think that software development is a team sport and can play well with others (especially the super fun and interesting people we have on our team!).

You will be joining an experienced team using the latest approaches to DevOps Engineering such as Infrastructure as Code, cloud native architecture, and cutting-edge continuous delivery and deployment to name a few.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design continuous integration and continuous deployment frameworks
  • Design automated provisioning and configuration frameworks in support of infrastructure-as-code
  • Design system monitoring solutions that alert teams to problems
  • Work closely with teams to understand requirements and translate into automated solutions

 

Essential:

  • In-depth knowledge across all areas of network infrastructure in AWS (load balancers, subnets, gateways, NAT, bastion servers, SSL certs, DNS, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with CI/CD and automation methodologies and tools (e.g. Jenkins, ArgoCD, Ansible, Selenium, Terraform, CloudFormation, Service Mesh)
  • Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes
  • Application, systems and DB monitoring experience (e.g. Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Expertise in scripting and development languages (e.g. NodeJS, C#, JavaScript, Java, Python, Ruby, PowerShell and bash)
  • Experience with Agile software development including Scrum or Kanban
  • Ideally experience with MongoDB
  • Ideally have AWS Certification(s)
    • Solutions Architect
    • Developer
    • SysOps Administrator
